Button controls & support
Press the indicated button over the target. Wheel click means pressing the wheel, not scrolling. Side mode alternates Back/Forward; the circuit runs Left → Right → Wheel → Back → Forward. DPI, macro and OS-reserved buttons may not reach the browser and cannot be tested here.
Default actions are blocked inside the active field. If a side button is not received or still navigates, check mouse software and browser settings. Buttons outside the field keep their normal actions.

Press 1 to 20 in order. Pressing elsewhere on the course breaks your combo.
Mouse, touch and pen all work. With a keyboard, Tab to the next checkpoint and press Enter or Space. Keyboard and mixed results are labelled separately.
How it works and limits
How to play
- Press Start and checkpoint 1 lights up. Pressing in order builds your combo.
- Pressing the course anywhere other than the current checkpoint is a miss and resets the combo.
- You pass four stages (triangle → arc → zigzag → diamond) and see a time for each.
- With a keyboard, Tab to the checkpoint and press Enter or Space. Keyboard results are labelled separately.
How it is counted
Each press counts once. The course may be mirrored left/right or top/bottom, but the shape is the same. Checkpoints are at least 48 pixels across.
Time and accuracy record this course only. They do not measure reaction time, input lag or polling rate.
Limits
Screen size, scaling, pointer sensitivity and touch versus mouse change results a lot. Press positions are never saved. Saving a completed score summary is optional.
If a button clicks twice or does not respond, run the mouse test first.
Classic practice · How it works and limits
How it works
- Choose a round (30 s or 20 targets) and press Start in the middle of the area.
- Pressing the target is a hit; pressing elsewhere inside the area is a miss.
- Switching windows pauses the clock; press Continue to resume.
- A keyboard also works, but keyboard and mixed results are recorded apart from mouse and touch.
Reading the score
Accuracy is hits ÷ (hits + misses). The 30-second round counts targets hit; the 20-target round measures time taken. Average per target is practice time divided by hits.
None of these measure input lag, polling rate, sensor performance or monitor response time.
When to use the mouse test instead
If one press registers as two, a button sometimes does not respond, or the wheel seems to scroll backwards, run the mouse test before practising.
Limits
Screen size and scaling, pointer sensitivity and touch versus mouse change results a lot. Compare only records from the same device and round. Click positions and paths are never stored.
